These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the DogsHash website at dogshash.app and its subdomains, the DogsHash mining pool and stratum servers, the browser miner, the rig scripts, the DogsHash smart contracts on Robinhood Chain, the DogsHash digital collectibles and any related tokens, documentation and social channels (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by the DogsHash team ("DogsHash", "we", "us"). By accessing or using any part of the Service, including by entering a wallet address, running the miner, connecting a rig or interacting with a DogsHash smart contract, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You may use the Service only if you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher), are legally able to enter into a binding contract, and are not a person or entity, and are not located in, organised in or resident of a country or territory, that is subject to sanctions or embargoes administered by the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United Nations or any other applicable authority, and are not on any sanctions or restricted-party list. You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of the Service, including cryptocurrency mining, holding or trading digital assets and interacting with smart contracts, is lawful where you live. If it is not, you may not use the Service.
DogsHash is a game in which participants contribute GPU proof-of-work to a mining pool and, in later phases, mine 8-bit pixel-art dogs (the "Dogs") as non-fungible tokens on Robinhood Chain and interact with related tokens and on-chain markets. The Dogs are digital collectibles with no intrinsic value. Any mechanics described in our documentation, including whitelist spots, epochs, prices, buybacks, burns, markets and any token, are game mechanics. They are not offers, promises, guarantees or forecasts of any economic outcome. Descriptions of planned features are plans, not commitments; features may change, be delayed or never ship.
Nothing on the Service is investment, financial, legal, accounting or tax advice, and nothing on the Service is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, mine or otherwise deal in any asset. Statements such as "buy back and burn" describe how a contract routes funds inside the game; they do not describe payments to holders and must not be relied on as such. You are responsible for your own decisions and for any taxes arising from your use of the Service.
The DogsHash smart contracts are deployed on Robinhood Chain, a public blockchain we do not control. Once deployed, the contracts are immutable: they have no owner, no administrator keys, no upgrade path and no pause switch. This is deliberate and it means that nobody, including us, can change the rules, stop the contracts, reverse or refund a transaction, recover assets sent to a wrong address, or restore a lost private key. Every transaction you send is final when the network confirms it. Prices set in the contracts (including any mining price, fee, tax or premium) are non-refundable. Smart contracts may contain bugs or be exploited despite testing; you accept that risk in full.
DogsHash never asks for your private key, seed phrase or wallet password, and never needs a wallet connection to mine. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, keys and devices. Anyone who obtains your key controls your assets. We are not responsible for phishing, fake sites, fake tokens, impersonators, malware or any loss resulting from a compromised wallet. Verify the domain: the only official website is dogshash.app and the only official X account is @DogsHashRH.
By using the Service you acknowledge and accept, without limitation, the following risks: total loss of funds; extreme price volatility or a permanent absence of any market or price for the Dogs or any token; smart-contract bugs and exploits; blockchain forks, congestion, reorganisations, outages and changes to Robinhood Chain; failure, outage, throttling or termination of third-party services on which the Service depends (including but not limited to Cloudflare, unMineable, Google Fonts, RPC providers and block explorers); regulatory actions that restrict or prohibit mining, digital assets or the Service in your jurisdiction; loss of keys; hardware damage; and the possibility that the DogsHash project is discontinued at any time.
You must not: attack, overload, probe or interfere with the pool, stratum, API, website or contracts; submit forged, replayed, spoofed or otherwise invalid work; use exploits or bugs to obtain Dogs, tokens, spots or rank; use the Service for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud or any unlawful purpose; circumvent sanctions or eligibility rules; scrape or reverse-engineer the Service beyond what applicable law allows; impersonate DogsHash or its team; or use the Service to infringe anyone's rights. We may block addresses, IPs and connections that violate these rules, with no obligation to explain.
The DogsHash name, wordmark, website, artwork, trait system, documentation and software are owned by DogsHash or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, the holder of a Dog receives a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display the artwork of that Dog for personal, non-commercial purposes and to display it on marketplaces and social media in connection with the token, for as long as they hold the token. No other rights are granted. Open-source components remain under their own licences.
The Service relies on and links to third-party software, networks and websites we do not control. Their availability, terms and privacy practices are their own. We make no representation about them and are not liable for them.
The Service, the contracts, the Dogs, any token and all related software and content are provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults, and without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DogsHash disclaims all warranties, express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security and uninterrupted or error-free operation. No advice or information obtained from DogsHash creates any warranty.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DogsHash and its founders, team members, contributors, contractors, licensors and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, digital assets, hardware, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, however caused and under any theory of liability, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of DogsHash for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of one hundred United States dollars (US$100) or the amount you paid directly to a DogsHash smart contract in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless DogsHash and its founders, team members, contributors, contractors, licensors and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or any tax obligation arising from your activity.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, including the website, pool, stratum, browser miner and documentation, at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you. Deployed smart contracts continue to operate on-chain regardless of the website. We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new effective date; your continued use after the change means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be finally resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its rules, conducted in English, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. You and DogsHash waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action, class arbitration or representative proceeding. Claims must be brought within one year after they arise or are permanently barred. If this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, disputes shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware and you consent to their jurisdiction.
The Service does not use accounts, passwords or tracking cookies. To operate the pool and the game we process: the public wallet address you enter; your IP address, user agent and connection metadata; hashrate, shares, blocks and other mining telemetry; and diagnostic messages the miner sends when it starts or fails. This data is used to run the pool, compute scores, prevent abuse and debug problems, and may be published where the game requires it (for example the whitelist table and, after the qualification week, the full share ledger). We do not sell personal data. The browser stores your address and preferences locally on your device (localStorage). Third-party services we rely on (for example Cloudflare and Google Fonts) may process technical data under their own policies. Blockchain data is public by nature and cannot be deleted.
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and DogsHash regarding the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them without restriction. Headings are for convenience only. The English version of these Terms controls over any translation.
